please grade yourself..this is for the coin that is on the left side ONLY. in the pics with 2 coins.i did this to show you the different color that it is..i do not know what it is but its NOT copper..at least i dont think it is..its a very light color its from 1944 its a wheat cent.its a nice coin(i will NOT spend almost 4.00 to ship it with a tracking number if you want a tracking number then you can pay me for it otherwise it will be shipped free for you)my reciept and detailed records will prove it got sent out.will only ship to usa and listia verified users..im a very honest seller and buyer and i hope you would be to thanks

During the war some were made of brass or bronze I think! And steel!

yeah.its not steel doesnt stick to a magnet.and it doesnt look like its made of copper..so thats why i put them as strange colored..

During WWII they made most pennies from steel because the copper was needed else where but started making them again using left over ammunition in 1944. There were three mints making coins. This one doesn't have a mint mark so it's hard to tell where it was minted. They were composed of about 95% copper and 5% Zinc. Good auction.
