I recently had a similar auction and I truly believe that the couple of negative comments that I received definitely scared off some bidders. Once they're out there people get cold feet.

They are great to use ,we stay in town to use ours to bump local business and have always came out with a buy one meal get the other meal free ....of course there are taxes and tips but that is at all restaurants. Thanks for the positive input.

I know how to use the gift card (as the site calls them). I have used them many times and you are right its more like a coupon but that is why i posted the instructions and the site , so bidders have a complete understanding of the gift cards, but thank you.

Here is their answer on 8-19-14 to the question, "Why should I choose a Restaurant.com e-Gift Card?":

It s simple enough if one is interested in the ecard the instructions are listed on the site as plain as day...I really dont understand why some folks find it so difficul to read the instructions or why they think others are not capable of reading or understanding them,,,,,Thanks to both negative nellys and bright folks who understand instructions....
