Description

The listing, Hass avocado trees... Aprox 8"- 1 foot tall! has ended.

I have several babies that I dig out from my mothers house & sell out if my house. I have decided to try these trees & plants on listia so please look thru the rest of my auctions as I slowly list different stuff on listia. These will be mail out like my pecan trees... Roots wrapped with lots of wet paper in a ziplock Baggies, then wrapped up in a card board to help from being smashed or bent by lost office. I only mail out on Monday so that they arrive to you hopefully by Saturday & not stuck in post office all weekend!

When they arrive please put in water a day or two to help with shock. Sometimes they loose there leaves but they will be ok. Just put in a pot with dirt or put in your yard & protect from direct sun lite for a few weeks as they start establishing there new roots. Please water daily for about 2 weeks then taper down watering as you feel it need more... Water it!

Consider adding avocado to salads, and not only on account of taste! Recent research has shown that absorption of two key carotenoid antioxidants—lycopene and beta-carotene—increases significantly when fresh avocado (or avocado oil) is added to an otherwise avocado-free salad. One cup of fresh avocado (150 grams) added to a salad of romaine lettuce, spinach, and carrots increased absorption of carotenoids from this salad between 200-400%. This research result makes perfect sense to us because carotenoids are fat-soluble and would be provided with the fat they need for absorption from the addition of avocado. Avocado oil added to a salad accomplished this same result. Interestingly, both avocado oil and fresh avocado added to salsa increased carotenoid absorption from the salsa as well.

Thanks for watching, bidding & fanning me! I fan back!

my complexion will probably turn green if i get some trees that produce well haha!
we got rid of the cat and got some chickens...which have way more pro's than con's! we use their mess for fertilizer, my wife is like a kid on easter hunting for their eggs everyday, and chicken tastes just like chicken.......I had to cool down my afterburners buying stuff to list, but i have actually profited majorly using listia! Gift cards always go for double the cash value in credits on here, and for a while we were making custom t-shirts and auctioning those off. I really have to discipline myself on here lol! My wife helps by growling at me when I'm getting to the "slow down turbo" zone!

Lol I had to slow down myself! Shipping is very expensive & asking for shipping fees is really hard cuz no one really like paying & bidding at same time. Lol I think you did a gr8 trade of cat 4 chickens! I wish I had every animal like my grand mother did but there's lots of rules on our lil town nowadays... No more chicken, ducks, goats, pigs or cows unless you have lots if acreage! I'm happy with my plants & fruit trees!

Well if you make it down this way, you could bring a seedling and show me where to plant it! My yard is pretty full! I have a tiny front yard that is overpowered by an oak tree that is way over 300 years old!

Omg I had a huge oak tree at my other house it was so huge & when I sold it the new owner cut it down! I sure will bring one with me if I make it down that away. I know my nieces want to go to corpus this year to see there sister in the state hospital but maybe later in the summer or next year.

The city had the nerve to tell me to cut it down because the roots cracked the sidewalk. I told them NO! Then they said they would cut it down then. I told them that, that tree had been there for a long time, was alive before their great grandfathers and if they touched my tree I would SUE them... And WIN! Lol... They fixed the sidewalk and never said another word about my tree! Dern Tootin!!!

I'm telling you it should be a law to cut down anything so old! I was so upset but what could I do? I had already sold the property. We enjoyed that shade so much for our family reunions for 18 years while we lived there.

my wife started a tree from a pit and it was doing fine until the cat used the pot for a litter box...my wife babied it everyday, taking it outside for morning sun and bringing it back inside before it got too hot during the heat of the day..and that darn cat had to go kill it, so my wife will love these and spoil them!

Oh man I know how destructive animals can be... Can't live with them or without them but on my property... My plants & trees come first. I had no idea has avocados would do so good on listia. I guess I'm forced to list another one down the road a piece. I've got lots of shipping fees this week. I didn't noticed I lusted so much on listia. I love listia & it's so much fun. Lol
