It fits most phones up to 4.7", including iPhone 5, HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy s3, Nokia Lumia, etc. Hope that this helps. I also forgot to mention that another added convenience is that this armband can hold your key and if you want you could also use this spot for some cash.

I actually use one when we go to pirate, renaissance and steampunk themed events. I can wear my outfit, (which we call garb) and be period appropriate but still have this modern convenience close at hand while hidden.

It says that it fits up to 4.7 inch phones. I'd say to be safe it will comfortably accommodate a phone 5.5" long X 3.75" wide. It does have quite a bit of stretch. My new Samsung Galaxy s5 (5.5" X 3.0") will fit in it as long as I remove the protective case that I usually keep it in. Hope that this helps. :)
