yes, you can grow them in planters if you think they will freeze. but they are just like apples so you should be fine just throwing them in the ground.

yay!!!!!!!!! I am just glad that people actually want to grow them. (^)-(^) I did not think enough people would be interested since they are not main stream fruits. I only knew about them from the movie White Men Can't Jump.
