Questions & Comments
I have a whole set. Platter gravy bowl sugar and creamer roaster and plates saucers and cups and coffee pot
Yes they were popular play set for children. Maybe you should get this in the event you drop one. Not that easy to replace. Each cup & saucer individually goes between $7.00 and $12.00 on eBay in this deep and true Blue Willow. Sets were made later, in less appealing, lighterweight. type In the size you mention, Done it this item, You'd not be able to pick up your box with ease. This was soooo popular!
I recall seeing that set in store windows, (the 50s--is that right) I was too old for a set but it seemed very cute. Nowdays everything is plastic IF girls even want to play tea time any more. I was born in 1937 and have seen an amazing diffrernce in "play-time" today! Remember the Tin Tea Sets too? They rusted and bent.
