What is a Mala?

Malas are used for sadhana, spiritual practices, for japa (repetition prayer), meditation, and healing. There are various types of malas that differ in number of beads, texture, or interpretations for its use, however only a few types can fulfill universal purposes. Today, I'd like to share with you how to use a mala and where to get one to deepen your spiritual practice.

How to Use:

Wear as a beautiful bracelet and/or take off and hold as a meditation mala....hold bracelet in dominant hand and place 2 fingers of the other hand on the biggest stone first. Go from stone to stone...around the bracelet....causing you to focus on the energy of the crystals....creates peace and great insight...helps induce deep meditation....
