The game originated in WWII when kids used milkcaps to play. In 1994 it became a hit and every kid had to have them. They were banned from most schools because they were so popular. Schools used reasons like "Its a gambling game! POGs are Vulgar!" when the real reason is that kids were busy trading POGs instead of listening to the teachers!

POGs can be played with 2 or more players, each player adds in an equal amount of pogs into a stack facing down then take turns throwing the slammer against the stack, whoever knocks the most pogs face up gets to keep them!
