I thought it was a bed warmer ...... You say ashtray hmmm either way very cool item
BTW it was in the first movie when she retired to room on her father's ship. Her lady in waiting I guess you call her was trying to be nosey (stating she did not want to be too "bold") about her going to marry Commodore what's his name but then mentions Will Turner and she responded that she "was being too bold". Anyway during this scene is when her assistant is putting the bed warmer under her feet.
Hi...ummm.. McDonald Products was founded in Buffalo, NY, in 1930, by Edward McDonald, a metalworker, upon his purchase of the Serv-A-Light Co., a developer of smoker stands with attached battery-operated cigar lighters. With his background in metalworking, he led the company in their development of a wide variety of ornamental smoking stands, pipe racks, humidors, ash trays, floor stands, and a silent butler, which they marketed and sold primarily to gift shops. In 1934, Mr. McDonald put a small duck finger lever on top of his scissor-action ashtray, thus giving birth to what became one of the company’s most well-known products, the Duk-It ashtray. In fact, the Duck icon, which originated from that specific group of products, eventually became the symbol for McDonald Products, and remains an integral part of our logo to this day.
All the time, I just can't afford free shipping..the cost has become awful. I used to ship items under four pounds for free but since the rate hike..even the lightest parcel costs seven dollars to ship. If you want to pay shipping, I'll be glad to..I would take off the five dollars that it will cost me to ship within the US and you would pay the rest.
Yes go watch it! For some odd reason I remember it quite clearly because I was wondering how well they worked and if the bed ever caught on fire. The I went out and bought a heated mattress pad! lol
