The listing, 14 KT Gold & Pearl Ring has ended.
This ring is stamped 14 KT(Tested Real Gold) with WHS I do believe this is a older ring, with 12 round white topaz around the Pearl.
The pearl I am not sure if real or not the light pink overtone on part of the pearl has come off and underneath the part were that came off has lines I tried to take alot of pics of the spot. This ring is a size 6 1/2.
( I AM GOING TO SAY THIS IS NOT REAL PEARL I WILL SAY IT IS A FAUX PEARL ,JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE)

Questions & Comments
Well, I am stuck on you as a seller. You are as honest as the day is long. May God continue to bless you.
Rubbing a pearl against your teeth is useless if it is a CULTURED PEARL.A cultured pearl is generally a polished sphere made from freshwater mussel shell. Along with a small piece of mantle tissue from another mollusk (donor shell) to serve as a catalyst for the pearl sac, it is surgically implanted into the gonad (reproductive organ) of a saltwater mollusk. Cultured pearls are smooth.
It is probably a real pearl and I doubt you could damage it by rubbing across your teeth. I do however, understand your apprehension. I love this one hun!
This is really lovely,I have this ring but mine is 18k and the pearl tested real cultured pearl.and Tonia,I think the pearl on your ring is real.just my opinion.F&W!Goodluck!
Beautiful ring. I'm thinking of bidding. But i just have one question. I notice in picture 3 that the markings are not on it. Was that because of the lightening?
I too agree that a fake pearl is nit set in 14kt gold so I tend to think its real...real pearls will remain cold to the touch no matter how ling toy hold them, and I know Tonia...when she says gold take tat to the bank! I have never been dissapointed and my jeweler tried to buy my necklace! I said no way!
I've been collection pearls for over 50+ years! This one is either a cultured pearl that is severely damaged or not even a real pearl. It has definitely seen its days!
I completely understand! I just think that any jeweler in his right mind would never place a faux pearl in a real, solid gold piece??? Maybe it is one of those Hawaiian pearls where you open the oyster after the stupid dance and whatever you get is what you get??? They are all seeded pearls and maybe the calcium overlay broke off of the seed??? Just trying to help here is all. :)
Hey hun I am scared lol I do not want to ruin it if you know what I mean, I might damage it and I do not want to do that so that is why I am stating faux on here.
This is so pretty.. Too bad the pearl is chipped... Would need to be replaced by a jeweler... Still a nice piece though. Would do it justice to have it fixed by who ever wins this :)
