Description

The listing, Live Plants - 10 Kinds (Orchids, vines, ferns, cacti, lillies and more!) has ended.

Pictured in order.

Wandering Jew - Vine grows best under high light and humidity. Ten rooted cuttings at least 4" long.

Pothos - Beautiful, shiny vine. Ultra hardy. Two rooted cuttings at least 4" long.

Sword fern - Grows best in high light and humidity. Can get quite large. Makes babies when happy! At least two babies, 1"+.

Citrus seedlings - At least one each of key lime, pomelo and kumquat. Currently 1-3" high. (I posted only one photo because similar until they fruit).

Jewel orchid - Grown for their foliage more so than their flowers (they do flower, though). Likes shade.

Easter cactus - Beautiful bright flowers. Low light / partial shade. Four, two-joint sections will be sent cured (dried for a day to prevent rot) but NOT rooted. Plant in 50/50 perlite (I will include 1/2 cup of perlite) and soil.

Lipstick plant - Beautiful vine that flowers often. Likes high light but will grow in lower light as well. Five rooted cuttings at least 4" long.

Peace lily - Mid-to-high light. One pup about 6" high with many leaves.

Plants will be shipped bare-rooted, wrapped in newspaper and plastic, carefully packed into a shipping box. I am happy to ship in another format if the winner requests it.

If the bids go over:
500 - I will include a small baggy of worm casings. Ultra amazing compost to mix in with your potting soil for these plants. May contain baby worms but they don't harm anything and you probably won't even notice them.
OR
a few surprise tropical plant seeds, all fairly easy to germinate and grow indoors.

1000 - Both seeds and casings.

1500 - A miracle fruit seedling. Fruit in 2-4 years - eat the berries and everything you eat for an hour after will taste sweet!

_________
I will do my best to ship for under $2 following the instructions of the helpful rustyiris :) If shipping is under $5 I will ship FREE. If over $5 I will charge $5 only. PayPal only, please!

I love this auction! I really wish it were free shipping, at least within Canada..
I have alot of expereince mailing plants in Canada, when I send I never pay more than $1.18 to a Canadian. If you can manage to keep the thickness under 1 inch you can send as a large letter, I make a 2cm thick box, you can usually trim back the plants to fit, or pick smaller plants . An over sized letter can be quite large. If you were to send to me you could skip the wandering jew and any soil.

Hey check out my plants auction, maybe I could interest you in trading, then you could see how I package :)

welcome to listia!

Thanks for your comment and the shipping tips! Do you make your own box from cardboard? I almost never ship things so I didn't know what to charge - I know Canada Post is pretty expensive so I figured it would be in the neighbourhood of $10. Feel free to bid if you'd like :) I'll do my best to keep the package small and I'll reimburse any overpayment for shipping - heck I'll ship for free if it's under $5!

I alter cardboad boxes, I use steemwhistle beer boxes, i like them because they are sturdy, but I'm sure any good box would do. I measure and cut the box 2cm thick, then glue and tape. then find a way to fit the plants in. Canada parcel post can get expensive, but letters can be quite cheap, and big too as long as long as you can fit in the thickness of the silver slot at the top of the mail box.

I would only be interested if you could swing free shipping or trading :)
