It looks like a hardcover book with no cover. Is that correct? Also, the subject matter seems fascinating. Would you mind sharing how much you paid fir it on clearance and how much the original price was? Sometimes bookstores make a mark somewhere on clearance books (usually a small marker line down the width of the pages). Did the store mark the book in any way to designate it as a clearance book? Finally, in what year was it published? Thank you SO much for listing such an interesting book, and for taking the time to answer my detailed questions. All if that is MUCH appreciated!

Right! It has no dust jacket. It was published that way. I sold another one, and i a better description. There are no marks. I can't remember what I paid because I bought a bunch of items. Sorry..It is a recent publication. It was published by Sterling in 2014. Thanks for your detailed questions!
