Hi, unfortunately I live in Canada so I am unable to obtain a physical USD card. All purchases are made online. However, I am able to buy physical CAD cards if anyone is interested and lives in Canada. Another option would be that you could buy a $5 physical gift card and I could transfer $50 to the card. Or I could send you a $50 card and you could ask the barista to load it into a new card. There are still plenty of options for digital delivery.

Definitely. You would have $54 on your card. Not the neatest amount for a gift, but it works. If you wanted to, you could later make a trip to Starbucks and ask them to transfer $50 from your current card to a new card. Then you would have 2 physical cards. A new physical card with $50 (for the gift) and your old physical card with $4. Sorry for making this so complicated. I will give full instructions and support if needed to whoever wins the auction to make everything right.
