Here's some history about this:
A handful of activists with no experience in the music industry set up Peace Not War in an East London living room and requested submissions for a fundraising compilation CD. The project escalated as rapidly as the public feelings about the slaughter of innocent civilians. Over 500 bands offered their songs freely.

Peace Not War is considered to be the finest protest song compilation ever released. Check out some of the artists involved...
