The listing, 10 Heirloom Butternut Squash Seeds + Bonus, One Hill will give you lots has ended.
I ship seeds in an unsigned card you can reuse as a bonus.
Yummy butternut squash. Spring or fall planting. As they are NON-GMO, Mine have mostly come up in the compost pile and grow by themselves..(the potatoes and tomatoes in the pic are from the compost pile).
One hill of 3-4 seeds can produce up to 15 or more squash. Last year mine made 15 before the squash bug got to the vines. The picture of the three with the Roma tomatoes are some of the ones I produced in my back yard.. We like them in casseroles with ground meat or Italian sausage or cut up and sauteed with onions, red bell peppers, herbs and spices...or boiled with sugar butter and a little creamora or whipping cream. The seeds are edible, they can be roasted or eaten raw..They need lots of room to grow..the vines get very long..
One great thing about them is they can be stored up to 6 months..just make sure you leave the stem end on them or they will rot. I cut them off with about a 1/2" -3/4" stem intact.
