This is the yarn that many are making the scarves out of. I tried making the scarves, but it is not for me. This is a complete skein, just not nice and neat. Great colors!

dont know what shashy type is. this stretches out to be about 2 1/2 inches wide. my girlfriend uses it to make the frilly scarves. hope that helps

Sounds like Shashy, it is kind of small holes or mesh on one end
