The Spider kids befriend a lovable, non-conformist frog named Felix, but keep their friendship under the radar, to protect Felix from Spiderus and his group of bumbling Anti-frog vigilantes. Be-Good-To-Bugs-Day arrives, and kids try to sneak him into the fair disguised as a giant bug. Miss Spider is not fooled and Felix must await his new pals in the meadow. Searching for Felix his mom and dad trash the fairgrounds as a violent thunderstorm drenches Sunny Patch. Felix runs away from his parents to rescue the Spider Family from a flood and return them safely to the Cosy Hole. When Felix decides to turn his back on frogs and become a bug Miss Spider intervenes with his parents and a misunderstanding triggers a battle between bugs and frogs. At the eleventh hour, Felix intercedes and becomes the hero of the day. Peace is restored to Sunny Patch, and the story ends on a hopeful note of reconciliation.
