Description

The listing, 2005-S SILVER CLAD NGC PF69 OREGON STATE QUARTER has ended.

This auction is for a 2005-S Silver Clad NGC PF69 ULTRA CAMEO Oregon State Quarter.
The scans above are of the actual coin that you will receive, and are provided for you to verify it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

** I am now forced to add a rider to all of my descriptions stating:
I will ship out your item on the next available day after auction end, first class with tracking, but can no longer promise when your item will arrive. The USPS has become extremely unreliable and there is no other alternative that is cost effective to allow for your item to show up in a timely manner.
I always offer Free Shipping W/Tracking and if you wish to make sure to receive your item within 2 - 3 days, you will need to let me know and pay for either Priority Mail, or UPS service.
I do keep tabs on the tracking and will keep you up to date as to the status, but ever since the first of this year the majority of the items sent have taken far too long to arrive at their destinations, while a few of them have made it within 3 -4 days. Please understand that I have no control over the package, whatsoever, after I drop it at the post office. Thank you in advance for your understanding. **

of course, this is ending today so I can not even add an update to this auction to state that it is wrong in the title and description. I will be sending the winner an update to inform them of this and allow them to request a refund, since many do not get as far as the comments here to read.

Um...this is not a silver coin...it is a copper-nickel proof.

Your title and your description say silver, but the picture says clad. NGC differentiates between silver and copper/nickel proofs using the word clad.

as always, I bow to the more knowing:
Definition: A clad coin is one that has multiple layers of metal in it; most current U.S. clad coins consist of an inner core of copper, with outer layers of a silver-colored nickel-copper alloy. Examples of this type of clad coin are the U.S. Dime, Quarter, and Half Dollar.

Actually, the clad version is worth nearly as much as the silver...partly because so few are graded!

I am thinking of sending a 90% silver quarter along with this one since I made that mistake in the title and description. the winner will get the choice of that or to receive a refund. I think that is only fair.
so to you bidders that do make it this far in the reading, know that you will get that option after the end of auction.
