It turns on but you cannot see the screen just shows a white screen, needs to be repaired

Are you the original owner? And has anyone ever opened this ipod? And does it have any water damage? An final annoying question if you connect it to pc does it recognize it?!?

not original owner but its never been opened and doesn't have water damage. its syncs to my laptop
