Description

The listing, JAPANESE EGRET FLOWERING ORCHID SEEDS. free shipping has ended.

I have 5 seeds to share. Seeds are small Good to zone 5. But must be in bog-like environment. Like are well known pitcher plants. They can also be grown in containers. These are referred to as terrestrial orchids, meaning can be grown in the ground.
I just received my seeds so this'll be a first for me too but I am completely in love with the look of these flowers!!
They are also fragrant. Cold winters the tubers must be dug up and refrigerated and slightly moist vermiculite or garaged in the pot that you're growing them in
check the monthly to make sure they don't dry out too much.

Hi everyone!!
I was delighted to have just received these seeds from Japan. I thought I'd share with other ground orchid lovers!! Yes these are ground orchids, and bog- lovers!! Please take a moment to copy the pics and planting guides in the picture section. That way you'll have all the info on these fragrant rare beauties!! Dont forget, as they have just gotten to me, so I won't have first hand knowledge as I've just received them yesterday!! Much luck to all my wonderful plant loving friends!!
As always, happy gardening! ;)

Hey angel,
the growing instructions are in the pic. Section
I wish I could say as I've just received my seeds from Japan Thursday (I think. ) or fri. Any way read and copy so if you win so you'll have them. ;). All I know is they like boggy conditions and I seem to be one who always over waters so I'm hoping that will be in my favor! Lol.

Thanks for looking I'm so excited about these I had to share!
Especially when I heard that they are on the endangered list in Japan. Best of luck to you and happy gardening ! ;)

Amazing! I love them! Makes me want to go to a greenhouse - my patience needs work some days. Lol.

If you look up 'goldfish' and 'dolphin' plants, the pictures are amazing. We could grow a plant menagerie! What an idea!

Justa note!! I placed my tiny pea like tubers in a Baggie on a wet paper towel for a week with a tiny piece of banana peal in the corner. Sealed it up and shaded it for a week. Then transferred delicate swollen ( seeds) peas to a very wet pot and tray. Top sprinkled the peas, and slightly dusted with dry soil I then Covered the entire pot with a super clean very large pickle jar. Shaded them and added water to the tray. Today I have a couple sprouts!!! Yea!! Just thought I'd share!! Best of luck bidding and as always, happy gardening!!! Dusty ;)

Hello all
After looking up terrestrial orchid seeds, and finding out that orchid seeds are more like a flour powder,
That's not what I have... I have the small (about the size of the "O "on your I phone keyboard )
So these must be considered the tiny P like tubers... Which is great news!! Justa FYI for everyone!
No flasking required, as I have read about the powdery seeds of Orchids. Yea!!!
