This is a lovely and unusual set. Let me say that I only use the word vintage when something is 25 years old or older which is the way it is supposed to be. It is a much over used word in this group. Well this is "vintage", I would say the 1980's. The color is different because it is supposed to be that way. It is the design. It is light material and lays well against a sweater, dress, or whatever you are wearing. The Earrings are especially nice. The pearls are not only real but very large.this is a really eye catching set and one that any business woman would be proud to wear into an important meeting. The earrings alone without the necklace will be worn time and time again with everything from evening wear to casual wear that's how functional they are. The color is a nice neutral color with a spark.
