Elsa is a great pillow for kids and collectors. Her batteries are built in and ready to go, she just has a pull tab. One review I saw said they are replaceable, though most say they are not, but you would have to make an incision in her to remove the battery pack. The batteries are the tiny flat ones which some say they sell at the dollar store. As for the song she only plays about 20 seconds of it. There are a lot of YouTube videos of the doll being played. Overall, she is a great doll, I love it as a collector and I know kids will too. Hope this helps. BTW Kat is a great seller!

Can not see on paper insert if it says she sings all of song or not and she is not activated as I have not pulled tab on activator
