Do you just stick them to your nail? Or do you out them on and paint over them? How do they work?

Yes you just stick them. They are sticky on one side. You just apply them and have stripes on your nail or different designs. It's a thin tape in different colors. You can also paint a coat of nail polish, wait for it to dry, put tape on, paint over it with a different color and take the tape off and it'll leave cool stripes :)
