thank you hon. Yes i believe that it is a satin finish. I almost didnt put it up for auction but i need space! lol I have so much "stuff" and need to dispose of alot! I have a cat house that i think i am going to put up soon. If you have a cat, this is really nice. I will tell you why i am disposing of it. Our cat loved to go out at night. Well, he got out one night and didnt make it home until two days later. Someone had hurt him but he made it home. Anyway, the decision was made to get him neutered to keep him home. We put him in his carrier and he went straight to the vets. Needless to say, he wasnt happy! He fought with us about putting him in the carrier. In the mean time i had ordered a new little house for him. It came in, and hubby set it up. Well the cat didnt want a thing to do with it. I think he thought we were going to take him to the vets again and he wasnt getting in anything! AND he hasnt! So...I have a cat and an empty house for him. He took one look at it and went in the bedroom....never has looked at it again! Its like he was thinking.."heh heh, if she thinks she is going to trick me again"...so i might as well put it up for auction. He wont even go near the cottin'pickin' thing! That was 2 months ago...so its going on Listia..as i said i got enough and need the space! lol Good luck if you decide to go after the fenton. It really is a pretty piece and it is old.
