Real turquoise? Also, could you take a picture of where the holes go through?

It looks like real to me but I can't confirm it. It may be howlite which is another stone used for a lot of "turquoise". It is not plastic :) The holes go through the sides of the shorter part of the cross - I don't have the facilities to take better pictures but i could string them perhaps. If you are a craftsperson you could wrap string arounf and convert to a pendant or make the hole/loop on the top.
