Pepper Cress Seeds. Also known as Poor Man's Pepper, this little heirloom is very quick growing, being ready to harvest in just 2 weeks. Pepper Cress is actually an herb used an a green. Heirloom Pepper Cress has a more peppery, spicy flavor than regular Garden Cress. Cress can make a bland salad something remember-able. Pepper Cress has frilly notched leaves with pointed ends on thin stems. This is an easy to grow flavorful addition to your garden. Just grow as you would lettuce not letting the soil dry out. It's quick growth habit and the fact that it requires very little space, make it a great choice to grow in a window sill planter year round
