a the begining of a yo yo you turn the sides in just enough to bast them together and then pull together like a draw string purse bring down in themiddle tie and snip tuck knot inside middle but try and tie tought

they can be as small as you thumb nail or as big as a dinner plate they are used for quilt tops,embelishment or even hand bags, they make a cute flower on dresses and hats or other things

yo yos can be as small as you thumb nail to as big as a dinner plate these will make a med.size yo yo used for quilt makeing and or adornments on othet things if you make hats you can even put them on as flowers ive seen purses made of rhese and quilt tops.they are normally sewn together by hand but now days maybe you can put them together by machine. go on a quilt sight and you might find pattrens. I hope ive helped you.

Love the pattern you used for this posting! I also use an old DVD as my template when I make yo-yo's. :) fanned and watching!
I also am looking for yellows and pinks in cotton fabric yo-yo's.. if you post anything like that, let me know!
