I'm very sick about how the gift card auctions on listia has turn into. Very greedy! I'm offering this gift card for BIDS ONLY! I won't post an outrageous gin so don't ask!!!

any winning bid up to 40,000 this will be a $10 card for every 4,000 after that I will add $1.00
if this reaches 100,000 = $25 card
if this reaches 1 million = $250 card
The card will be mailed
**** the limit on this card is $300 no matter how high the bid is over 1,200,000 million

I consider the value of credits on listia for gift cards to be $1.00 = 4,000 credits
I have seen several auctions go for 5,000 = $1.00

I agree with ncoombes. As a seller who lists non gift card auctions, I am giving my items away at a steal. I barely get enough credits to cover my shipping cost if you base credit value at what gift cards go for. Like any inflated economy, it will eventually collapse or the non gift card sellers will stop listing and then Listia will slow down.

Omg finally somebody that understands what I mean about the gift cards yes Greedy I put a lot of time and energy Into my auctions and then have to give up to 75,000 for just a $5 gift card thank you so much ( sorry didn't mean to vent on your auction)

Looks like U R doing just great in the credits to win department. You are sooooooooooo right about the bids being outrageous. I was wondering where they get these high credits ...Listia's POOR judgement is going to come back and bite them......but I'm in the process of divulging myself of my large lot of credits and take my selling else where because there is no an incentive to to list anything.....This also creates people from having to list something to get their credits leaving us nothing to buy. I hope they enjoy what they have done....if there is no purpose to buy then the purpose of their site has change from the bidding folks to Listia's SELF INTEREST.

Gift cards are outrageous now when I started you could get 25.00 for about 42-60 now forget it

Great job, and your correct this has gotten out of control. I remember when you can get a 50.00 gift card for 75,000 credits.... But thanks to listia ending the reward program the way it was to bidding style cause all these sellers to up their prices for the cards.
And thus listia is getting outrageous bids on the items they are offering...If people would look to see what listia charges for credits they would see what a credit is worth.
