This is a kitchen timer that is missing the number dial. It works fine if you wind it as far as it goes and your allotted time is an hour. Or if you just like cows and think it would be cool to have a wind-up cow that ticks for an hour then rings quite loudly...not for me to say...your secret will be safe with me, lol :)
