at least 3-4 months, I used them for my little girl to talk to me at anytime when she was staing with her mother. Always left mine on.

why i was asking how long the batteries stayed up is my parents live right next door and they have no phone so i thought walkie talkies would be a good idea thanks oh plus i faned you thanks again
