Up for bid are TWO books that are still sealed in their cellophane wrap.

"SPLASH is a book about whales and dolphins, filled with fun and interesting facts about these fascinating mammals.

"CHOMP" is a book explaining what sharks look like, how they hunt, what they eat and how they are born.

Both books were written by renowned authors Melvin and Gilda Berger. Both are Scholastic paperback, and are still sealed. In fact, since they are sealed, I can only show the back of the second book.

Review of the Splash book: "This is a perfect introduction to the watery world of whales and dolphins."

The reviews on the Sharks book were pretty positive: "has a lot of great information written about sharks that is presented in a kid-friendly way" "There are no photos of bloody feeding frenzies, although there are a few photos of sharks hunting, and a description of the death of a seal."

Kids seemed to really like both books. These are Scholastic editions, and since they are sealed, I cannot tell how many pages are in each. They measure 6" x 9".

Sound like some good summertime reading (level 3 – written for independent readers. They include challenging words and more complex themes and stories).
