The listing, HP/Compaq- Laptop Replacement Battery *2 weeks old* has ended.

Won this battery last week on Listia from a reliable seller.

It is new (only been used for 2 weeks according to the seller) and I only used it once.

I won this battery because I thought my existing battery was dead. Turns out, that my laptop motherboard is the issue and regardless of new battery or not, it refuses to charge anything.

So, basically I'm stuck with using a power supply until I can get a new laptop.

Battery works well. Great condition, then again its only 2 weeks old. As per the previous listing that I won it from, it is compatible with the following:

Its true i sold this to them I got it from amason used it for a couple of weeks i never drained it and kept it in A+ condition.

i just checked. as far as i can tell, it is NOT part of any recall, but feel free to do your own research. as i said before, the battery is perfectly fine. its my motherboard that refuses to charge, so no matter what battery i use, it will only be useful until its drained. hence just using power cord for now. hope this helps :)

VANNS4 - im confused now, cuz now i found a site that says IT IS COMPATIBLE. i think best way is to let me know what your CURRENT battery says on the back. then i can be sure cuz that number will be compared to my description info easily. =)

on the back of my battery it says replace with hp share 484170-001

i just checked my original battery from HP which says HSTNN-IB17. But the one Im auctioning says HSTNN-IB09. But it worked and fit without a problem. I will look up based on the HSTNN number and see. :)
