This sounds good. I have arthritis in both knees and haven't been able to walk for 2 weeks. I wear support hose and knee pads and use an analgesic cream but not much takes the pain away. I would love to try it.

Hi lady77 ~ I think you may be surprised at how well this product does work for arthritis as well as a whole lot of other ailments. Of course everyone is a little different but I really haven't found many people that don't get good to excellent relief from it. If your arthritis is from bone on bone problems where you are left with no cartilage (cushioning) in your knees that's a whole other matter but for generalized arthritis it is wonderful. You would want to apply it to your upper leg and lower leg as well as the knee as these muscles/tissues feed into the knee. Only need a small amount. I wish you luck if you decide to bid or GIN for 2000 credits. (I probably won't be offering the low GIN again. ) :) Thanks for commenting.

Thanks so much! The GIN I can see on my auction just has a shaded grey bar under the title that says "Get It Now 2000 Credit" so it looks very different to me than the ones I see on other auctions. Really appreciate you taking the time to let me know! :)

Well, this sounds really great! Sorry to have so many questions, but just one more? Does it work on only 'surface' pain (peripheral neuropathy), or does it also help with the deep down type of pain as well? I was told that I can't have the traditional MS therapies, due to the fact that it may cause a relapse of the leukemia I had as a child, so all I can have is the 90 Norco pills they give me each month (3 per day), 800MG Motrin (which doesn't help at all), and 1800MG of Neurontin a day. So ANYTHING I can use to help with the pain, I will try.

No apology needed...Wow...lots of meds that you have probably built up a tolerance to over time...Biofreeze provides a "deep penetrating" relief not just a "surface" pain reliever. However, do remember that any topical analgesic is treating symptoms not cause. That being said - I sincerely do think the Biofreeze could help with your symptoms. Just an aside...have you tried therapeutic massage, myofascial release, acupuncture, acupressure etc? MS is such an "all encompassing" challenge.as you well know. Just a thought.

hello I have interstitial cyst. of the bladder I have had for 20 years now and i am 33 i have had many bladder instullations and almost had my bladder removed but i had a interstem stimulater put in but the doctors could not get in the right place so after tons of surgerys i had the stimulater removed but the lead wires had to stay in because the doctor said that if they would try to remove the lead wires it would be like taken a hook out of a gold fish mouth. today i am in so much pain and the doctors don't know anything eles to do for me. I am on some strong pain meds but i am afraid of getting addicted to them and some days they don't even seem to help. I also have degenerated disc diease in my back that really hurts when its cold outside. So my question is do you know of anything at all that could help me out??? I love the bio freeze it does help some i bidded here most of the time my chirpractor never has any it goes fast!! Its a really great product if you have never tryed it before. thank you for listening and any advise i would be ever so greatful!!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment & bidding! In the colder weather I prefer to use Sombra more often because it feels "warmer" than the Biofreeze. Cool products decrease inflammation where warmer products increase circulation. Hope that helps! I may put a 4 oz Sombra up this week so keep checking back. :)

Silverfarr I don't mean to pry but, 15 yrs ago as of August 26th I have been struggling with malignant melanoma! I have had lymph nodes removed all over & I have alot of circulation problems! I have used the biofreeze spray for a long time & just recently won some of this gel & it works......better than the spray!! I have deep pain in my groin & it does miracles for it! I was going to bid on this but, I still have some left & everyone should get to try this for pain! Definitely worth trying if you suffer from pain everyday! Good luck to you! Ajalae do you sell containers of this or know possibly where I might find some?

Hi ffos7510~ Great to hear back from you & glad you're liking the BF! I do sell larger sizes of this in my clinic & another great product called Sombra (which is a similar product; can be used more generously; is more of a cream in cool and in warm varieties; smells more like a lemon & orange menthol) but haven't put them on listia because I'm rather new here & they are rather expensive. Since it looks like a bid max start point is 100 - I could stand to lose quite a bit ~so I haven't put any up for bidding of either in larger sizes. I guess I could add a shipping cost & try it once ~I'll have to think about it...Thanks for the idea. :) Mean time I'm actually taking a "loss" on these samples with the free shipping. but I know they can help a lot of people out that don't have the $ to buy but do have credits to use. If I could only win the lottery I could give them for free & I would! LOL You could try your local healthcare providers (Chiropractors/Therapists) to see if they sell? Have a good day!

I have Fibromyalgia Syndrome & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. My pain is muscular, all over, & every day of my life. I can no longer even walk the length of our home. I don't have enough credits to win this and I can't get disability (my husband does), so I probably won't ever get to try something like this. But, I have to tell you, if it eases pain for even an hour or so a day, what a heavenly relief that would be. I have lived with this since I was 21 years old--I am now 54.

Yes, I've tried therapeutic massage, and acupuncture, but not MFR. The pain comes right back after treatments, so I stopped going. I'm not sure that MFR would work, because my pain isn't really muscular. I don't mean to sound like a complainer :-) The Norco DOES dull the pain to a tolerable level during the first few hours after a dose. I've had MS for around 25m years (since diagnosis anyway), and have learned to cope with the pain to an extent. I just kind of keep my eyes peeled for anything that might help. There is one thing that I haven't tried yet, and that is the medical MJ. I couldn't do it when I was working, because I had to have my whits about me. But now that I am on SS Disability, I can't use it in spite of the fact that it is legal in my state. It still remains illegal in the eyes of federal law. So, if I was cited for using it, I could lose my income from SS. Anway, sorry to go on, and on. Thanks for the suggestions.

If you could find a good John Barnes MFR trained therapist - MFR would most likely serve you well. (I have 21 levels of training with him & the results are incredible to say the least). It works with the connective tissue system, muscles, joint etc all the way down to a cellular memory level. (A true Barnes MFR specialist will address the physical, emotional, mental aspects all together for any disease) Speaking of medical MJ - did you read about the study published by the European Journal of Neurology in, I believe March of 2011 regarding nabiximols & spasticity reduction in MS? Good study if you want to Google it. Hang in there! :)

These small packets are in a gel form and you can get several applications out of 1 packet. I personally think the gel form works the best and lasts the longest at reducing symptoms. (They also have a spray and roll on but seem to me to be somewhat diluted in strength/effectiveness but some folks just prefer a different type of application than just using their hands) You only need to use a small amount/drop the size of a dime, of the product to the area of pain. Just apply in a circular motion. Remember to wash your hands afterwards so you don't accidentally touch your eyes or other "sensitive" areas. (I personally use it often on my hands for pain relief but try very hard to remember not to touch my eyes!) You can put it on the same place up to 4 times a day. I realize there may be days where you hurt all over but you still would just pick a couple of areas to apply it to, It does have a menthol type scent but that dissipates in a short period of time. I also tend to sleep better when using it on my neck or back before I go to sleep. Hope that answers your question. Thank you for asking!

Thanks silverfarr! I'm sorry to hear you have MS~that's a really tough & challenging road you travel. I can tell you that I've used this on several of my patients with MS & they truly love it. I'm offering it here on LIstia at my wholesale cost & lower just because it does work for so many different kinds of "pain" and I really want people just to try it. I don't work for the company or am not connected in any way other than I have been using it in my practice for years. Different things work for different people but this one certainly works for a lot of folks.
Here is a review that a lady with MS posted regarding Biofreeze:
By Holly E. Blomberg (Evans, GA USA)
(REAL NAME)
"I first discovered BIOFREEZE at my chiropractor's office and have been in love with the product ever since. I have multiple sclerosis and some times the pain is so overwhelming that it's hard to even think straight. There have been times when I have taken all of the medication available to me and it still doesn't even touch the pain. BIOFREEZE is just about the only thing that works at those times. It reduces the pain and muscle spasticity and its cooling effect is much more tolerable than something like Capsacin cream which seems to heat up (and heat and MS don't mix!) I would recommend this product to anyone with MS pain or other conditions with neuropathic pain (like diabetes or poor circulation)"
Hope that helps a little. Thanks for bidding & good luck! :)
