The listing, Car Stereo by Virtual Reality Sound Labs has ended.

Now, this is a good stereo, it worked when it was yanked from my old car but my new one has one so I am giving this one up! It has:
- iPod Connectivity.
- ID3 MP3 for Displaying Song Info. Like Artist, Track Name etc
- SD Card Slot for SD Cards with MP3s on them.
- USB for iPod or other MP3 player
- Removable Faceplate for Security.
- Also comes with mounting bracket

this is a nice stereo and would work great in any vehicle, it has a bit of dust from sitting in my dash for the years.

(The GIN Cost is 50,000 Credits but I seen these Stereos go as high as 110,000 last week, reason why I listed it. I think 50,000 is a steal since the last stereo didn't have this many options.)

Comes with the mounting harness, I couldn't get the wiring harness from the car.

that's a shame they stereo are almost useless without the wiring harness
almost impossible as a matter of fact to get a wiring harness
could you please give the make and model number
the stereo isn't even worth bidding on if a wiring harness can't be acquired

I hooked up an old Sony CD stereo in a Honda my wife used to own without the harness because it did not exist anymore or couldn't be found. You just have to research what wire is what in your vehicle and what is what on the stereo. I used contacts pirated from a random stereo harness I bought at the end of each wire covered with electrical tape to avoid bad touching if anything came off. I slid each wire on individually and presto! The connection actually outlasted the car itself which died from engine trouble. If anyone has trouble finding a harness for any stereo, this is one way to do it.

des this have a removable faceplate? My husband has a Jeep wrangler that is pretty much open and needs to be able to take the faceplate - really would like to get this for him - he really needs a stereo in his ride

from what i understand a semi-skilled installer could wire the unit directly without even having a harness at all, i sure hope i have enough creds to win this but im thinking i wont but that wont stop me from trying :)

Hey, I stated what comes with the equipment in the auction, quit going around finding faults in peoples auctions. Yeah you can look around at different places and say they don't sell that harness or you could find one that sells it. The previous auction I seen go for over 100,000 points never had a harness either and it was WAY older than this one is.

ok first of all I am not criticizing your auction I am stating a matter of fact .
second just because somebody selling the equipment does not mean they sell reese placement parts .
third after conducting a net search based on the information you have given I find the wiring harness in fact not too be available .
fourth I have been installing car electronics for a very long time .
fifth if in fact your installer can get wiring harness perhaps you can make his contact information available ?
and finally 6
someone is going to win your auction that would be awful if they were disappointed because they couldn't get the part to make the stereo work !

Remember, you can play SD Cards with music on them and your iPod even Memory Sticks which Listia has a ton of those on here as well for give away. This is a great deal, so whoever needs a good stereo in their vehicle shouldn't pass this offer up.
