Sowing Method: Plant the seed in spring or fall. where they are to flower ¼" deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered right before last frost.
Beautiful flower spikes on plants that can grow to 3 feet tall and covered with lovely flowers in shades of Blue to purple, pink and white. This wild delphinium needs plenty of moisture, yet the area must be well-drained. The flower stalks of this species are mainstays in the dried flower trade, so you might want to dry some of yours for permanent arrangements.
