From outside to outside it's 1 inch all the way around and yes it has all stones intact. Like I said it just sat in my armoire

It's a dark blue gift box I think or its black blu either way it's a great box and great necklace it's just to dainty for my taste so it sat in the armoire so I figured I would find it a better home
