What color is the glass? Any chips? Thanks

It's clear. The edge has some dings from use. I tried to put up a large enough pic to show that. If you look closely it's visible (at least on my monitor). Other than that, nothing. People really did use these in the kitchen. I think my Grandmother used this one to slice tomatoes. That would have been many, many years ago.
