I read this book and cried for hours.Its a true story.I was horrified to know that there are parents that could so cruel to their children.If you like true stories you should bid on this book.Have a box of tissue handy when you read it.Great auction! Fanned you!

Saddest book I have ever read, especially now to come across this book after many years since reading it..and becoming a mom recently I cannot imagine how a mother could do those things to their child :( I would love to win this, I read this 8 years ago in middle school and remember it as if it were yesterday!

I think there are 3 that talk about his childhood through manhood and then he has several others. I have the first 3.

I have read several of his books, I agree with everyone else, he is a captivating writer and if you can get through these with no tears, there's a problem somewhere. Heartbreaking.
