was played with a little. The remote charges the helicopter when you plug it into the helicopter. As you can see in the picture i dont have the backing for the remote. A very fun toy to play with. I would say a good gift for someone between 10-18.

About how big is it?

from the nose to the tail it is 6 1/2 in. fit stands 3 1/2 in tall.and the blade span( from one end to anoher is 6in

I actually have this model. It can't move backwards. It always moves forwards, but you can control altitude and direction (left and right).
