This plant is exploding with color now and will continue to bloom prolifically until midwinter in our part of the country (zones 7 through 10). The honeysuckle is a shrub or a vine or can be crated into topiaries.The tubular-shaped flowers grow in clusters ranging in color from brilliant red-orange to apricot, salmon or even light yellow and adorn small, delicate dark-green foliage creating a magnet for birds, butterflies and bees … an excellent plant for a wildlife garden. It is a fall bloomer. It can be used as a hedge or a centerpiece. Heate resistant, deer resistance, disease resistant and easy to grow with hardly any upkeep except an occasional trimming.
