The listing, WALKING LIBERTY SILVER HALF DOLLAR 1935 S has ended.
Minted 1916 to 1947
First struck in 1916 in response to WWI, this bold design was issued as a statement to the world of the strength and resolve of America as the Great War progressed. For all of 1916 and part of 1917, the mintmark was placed on the obverse of the coin under the date. Later in 1917, the mintmark was moved to the reverse of the coin. Minted through World War II until 1947, this series is strikingly beautiful, and a rewarding challenge to complete.
This is a 90% SILVER WALKING LIBERTY HALF DOLLAR from 1935 from the San Francisco Mint. It is in VERY GOOD condition. All the wording on it is very legible. .
Thanks, collector_rick I didn't really want to list it, but I am starting a collection of Gold and Silver Certificates. If you, or anyone else out there, have any and want to trade for silver coins (Dollar & Half Dollars) please let me know!!
