"Smashing out of the TV SCREEN...Your Saturday morning favorites!" The Superfiends! Ummm...er...I mean Superfriends! Haha! Yeah that's the ticket! :) Well, now that I've got the attention of all you kids born in the late 60's and 70's, check out this cool comic book! It is apparently based on the TV show that ran in the 70's (and 80's?) but, I cannot tell you if this issue (or any of the Superfriends comic book issues) are direct translations of particular TV episodes. If you know, feel free to post here for us to learn, oh wise master! This comic book has a good amount of wear to it as no telling who's little crumb snatching, curtain climbing, yard ape got their sticky mitts on this thing before it was saved from being totally doomed to a life in the local landfill. Haha! I love kids...really I do. When they're other people's kids if you know what I'm sayin. ;) I'd rate this issue as being in ....Good/Very Good (GD/VG) condition. The comic's edges are roughed up and it even looks as if the right edge of the comic may have been trimmed at some point. There is significant creasing throughout and the corners are damaged. The spine is rolled just a wee bit. The staples are not dis-colored. The comic is complete and is totally readable though. That being said, I am not a professional grader of comic books. I have, however, graded this issue honestly and to the best of my ability while utilizing modern comic grading standards / scales as a template for my ratings. If you or someone you know was a huge friend of the Superfriends, then consider picking up this issue as a small token of your friendship. The gift would be cherished I"m certain.
