Description

The listing, DAMSON PLUM TREE has ended.

I've got to tell you that I have the most delicious plum trees in the world here. I have 4 kinds and each has the sweetest, firmest flesh fruit I have ever tasted. I am auctioning a DAMSON PLUM that is well established and between 1' and 3'. I have several and would dig the tree up just before sending it and make sure it is the freshest possible for you. This plum is an oval shape with yellow flesh and is semi-free stone. I eat these like crazy in summer and get in trouble for eating too many sometimes but they are soooooo good! I use them for canning and preserves. I have made fruit leather and dried some out for healthy snacks also. The actual tree is more like a bush for me but they are actually a tree if trimmed right but they were here when we bought the place and they didn't trim them so we actually have two tree-bushes about 20' high and 10-15' wide. They have a super abundant supply of fruit that I can't possibly keep up with and a huge amount of the fruit is given away to family, friends and the needy and a lot goes to waste on the ground. We have super heat in the summer and snow in the winter and neither have bit of impact on these babies. My son waters them once a week or so, sometimes less, and it doesn't seem to affect the production of the fruit. This is an excellent choice for plum lovers and growing instructions are readily available on the net.

I will post pictures of the trees and the seedlings so you can see what I mean as to sizes and shape.

The last two trees/bushes that I shipped out cost $18 and $20. I shipped out 4 rosebushes of different sizes, thus the difference in cost. Shipping out one plum tree should cost less and I can ship smaller ones if wanted. Just remember that the size of the tree will mean fruit just that much sooner. I will ship what you want.
