Maryland was admitted into the Union on April 28th of 1788. The reverse side of the Maryland State Quarter features the Maryland Statehouse surrounded by White Oak leaf clusters and Maryland's nickname, The Old Line State. The reverse side of the Maryland State Quarter was designed by Thomas D. Rodgers. This 2000-P Maryland GOLD plated State Quarter is from the Philadelphia (P) Mint. All State Quarters are comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Maryland GOLD plated State Quarter come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. This GOLD plated State Quarter have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems.
