1863 - This is an AUTHENTICATED 1000 DOLLAR CIVIL WAR BOND. AUTHENTICITY BY SOUTHBY'S of LONDON. (A WORLD FAMOUS AUCTION HOUSE). CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA CIVIL WAR BOND DATED FEBRUARY 20, 1863. Richmond. HAND NUMBERED AND SIGNED. On the back is a BLUE STAMP stating Confederate States of America Bond Holder Committee Fee Paid 12 Nov 81 There are 6 individual $40.00 loans stating "six month interest due Jan 1st 1866" I show the measurements of the MAIN BOND with the $40.00 hand signed loan certificates attached and signed, and numbered as originally received. *** This will be shipped with cardboard and folded between the LARGE BOND CERTIFICATE & the six $40.00 loans. *** The .Certificate of Authenticity was received separate, and is on a thicker piece of cardboard.
