The listing, white 50 grade cotton cheesecloth fabric has ended.
The listing is for 1/2 yard x 36in, enough to use for canning or straining purposes.
**GIN buyer recvs 25y x 36in.
**** I've also used this cheesecloth to make baby swaddler "blankets". It unfolds to about 36in. If you UNFOLD it and quadruple it (4 yards), when it's serged or stitched around the edges, it's the same consistency as the high end "swaddlers" that cost way more than i'd pay. (0:
Cheesecloth bunches up when machine dried on medium (i'd do it AFTER you've sewn with it) and has a beautiful fluffy and soft consistency. it's so pretty.
I've made many of these, dyed them w/a safe dye and either air dried for a loose look or machine dried to bubble it up.
If you've sewn the edges the way you want, it's fine.
I love cheesecloth like i love burlap. (0:

I've used this to make sheer white curtain panels. They're beautiful and easy to do. Hand or machine stitch across the width of the fabric to create the rod pocket. Leave the neatly cut ends unhemmed. Done!
One 25 yard cut will make about 12 - 72in x 36in wide panels. I used 4 panels per window for a very pretty and FULL sheer look that can't be seen thru. 2 panels of that size per window will give a nice island feel to your windows. Try it. (0:
I've also had beautiful results hand dyeing this 100% cotton fabric.
