The listing, *Audubon* Antique Framed Print~ *Key West Quail Doves* has ended.

A beautiful antique print, framed, with glass. The 'Key West Quail Dove is extinct, gone, lost....so sad. The print by John Audubon is just gorgeous!! It illustrates the doves as well as the native flora. The picture is about 12" X 10". It is in good shape, but it really should be matted with acid free paper, taken good care of and enjoyed.

Thanks- it is really lovely and rare. Audubon saw things we never will but thankfully he left us his art. The details are amazing!

poor things would be grand if the guy who found these lil guys picked up a bunch of feathers hmm DNA but then again maybe its for the better they don't suffer.

Beautiful I will likely put it in a case to keep it safe then hang it

Yes, I know. It might have been lovely to see them! They were shot for sport, you know, only the breast meat is edible. There were lots of them. It's hard to understand how ALL of them were killed. Anyway, the print is in the frame but against the glass. It should be matted so it doesn't press against it. It is a beautiful thing to look at! I'm glad you admire it! Good luck to you, friend!

You know there were a few times they called a species extinct but maybe there is a small amount of them still alive *Shrugs* we can only hope

Yes, I suppose that is true and yes, one can only hope! They haven't been seen in over a century, so likely they are extinct. : ( I love our mourning doves, here, and these birds seem like them. Love doves, lol! Thanks for looking.
