Is there some reason why you are assuming it to be plated and not solid 10K gold? Has it been tested?

I read it online that if a ring is marked 10k but has no other markings or manufacturer's stamp on it, there are chances that its gild filled and not real gold. I am not 100% sure though..

No. None of the above. It is not peeling or anything like that. The color of the gold does not compare to my band that shows in the above photos(it is 10ktgold.) Thank you.

The ring appears to have a diamond on each side of the sapphire stone. Are those diamonds or is it the light just reflecting on the gold? Beautiful ring
