This is a 90% Silver 1964 JFK HALF DOLLAR from the DENVER MINT. 1964 was the first and only year that the KENNEDY HALF DOLLAR was minted in 90%
silver. This coin was minted after his assassination, and some of the 1964 proofs (including this one) have the Accented Hair. Kennedy's wife requested the changes be made so that his hair would look better. Those are
valued at between $100 and $900 depending on the condition and the market. This particular one has slight marks of handling or circulation. Mainly a smudge between the "L" in LIBERTY and JFK's mouth. I didn't really want to auction off this rare coin, but I want CREDITS to bid on GOLD / SILVER CERTIFICATES.
