The game originated in WWII when kids used milkcaps to play. In 1994 it became a hit and every kid had to have them. They were banned from most schools because they were so popular. Schools used reasons like "Its a gambling game! POGs are Vulgar!" when the real reason is that kids were busy trading POGs instead of listening to the teachers!

POGs can be played with 2 or more players, each player adds in an equal amount of pogs into a stack facing down then take turns throwing the slammer against the stack, whoever knocks the most pogs face up gets to keep them! Family fun game, party game, drinking game, gambling games. The possibilities are endless with pogs and POG collections are never ending fun!
